What can I get done on a Saturday?

Saturday is a full working day for us, not a reduced menu. The same two dentists and team see you, and most treatment we offer during the week can be booked on a Saturday:

Can I see a dentist on Saturday for an emergency?

Yes. If you break a tooth, lose a crown or wake up with a toothache on a Saturday, call (832) 612-2831 as early as you can. We see same-day emergencies between 9am and 3pm. We don’t have after-hours service (see whether emergency care is available after hours), so after 3pm on Saturday follow first-aid steps and call us Tuesday morning — or go to the ER for spreading facial swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing, high fever, bleeding that won’t stop or a possible broken jaw. More on our emergency dental care page.

How much is a Saturday visit for new patients?

Saturday prices are the same as weekday prices. For new patients without insurance:

New patient visitSelf-pay price
Limited exam + panoramic X-ray$49
Comprehensive exam + panoramic + intraoral X-rays$99
Comprehensive exam + X-rays + basic cleaning$179

See all published dental prices. Anything else gets a written estimate before treatment.

Do you take insurance on Saturdays?

Yes. We accept most PPO plans and check your benefits before your visit, Medicare Advantage plans with dental benefits, and Texas Medicaid/CHIP for children through DentaQuest, MCNA and UHC Dental. See insurance. We accept Cherry, Sunbit and CareCredit for patient financing (see financing options), and you can use an FSA or HSA card for dental treatment.

How do I book a Saturday appointment?

  1. Book online at our booking page or call (832) 612-2831.
  2. Have your insurance card ready so we can check benefits before Saturday.
  3. Read our new patient guide so you know what to bring, and see photos of our office.
  4. For an emergency, call instead of booking online so we can find you a same-day time.

Saturday times tend to fill first, so booking a week or two ahead helps for routine visits. We speak English, Spanish, Gujarati and Hindi (información en español).

Frequently asked questions

What are your Saturday hours?

We are open Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. Our other days are Tuesday and Wednesday, also 9am–3pm. We are closed Monday, Thursday and Sunday; Friday is an admin day, 9am–3pm, with no patient appointments.

Can my kids get a cleaning on Saturday?

Yes. We see children from the first tooth, around age 1, for exams, cleanings, fluoride and sealants, and we do fillings and extractions for kids too. If a child needs to be sedated for treatment, we refer to a pediatric dentist.

Can I get a crown on a Saturday?

Yes. The first crown visit can be on a Saturday, and the final crown is placed about 5 days later. Self-pay crowns start at $1,199. We don’t make same-visit crowns.

Is there a dentist open on Sunday in Richmond?

We are closed on Sundays. If you have a serious problem such as spreading swelling or trouble breathing, go to the ER; otherwise follow first-aid steps and call us when we open on Tuesday.
